The first time I used this knife I told my boyfriend I wanted to marry it. Such a difference from my previous santoku. Needs honing but I use this just about every day and for all things. Goes through anything just like butter. I love that they sell it with a sheath so my wonderful blade stays that way.

I purchased this knife specifically to use in my outdoor kitchen. I didn't want to spend a lot of money and didn't have high expectations given the price. I was pleasantly surprised when I began using this knife. Works great on meat, fruits and vegetables. Stays sharp, sheath a nice plus. Highly recommended.

I have this knife and like it so much that I gave a variety of the Kuhn Rikon knives to my son for Chrsistmas. With the sheath, these knives remain sharp even when thrown in a drawer. I do not put them in the dishwasher not knowing how the d/w detergent will effect them over time.
